Name: Bow Window Restoration

Problem: Bow Window had several areas of rot on the bottom of the window into the window sill.

Solution Provided: We began by restoring the east bow window, as the wood has rotted. Then we stripped the existing paint on the window, and sanded the wood to better adhere to the paint. We repaired the area by applying epoxy liquid and putty, letting it set and sanding it to shape. Around the perimeter of the glass there was a thick layer of caulk we removed and replaced. The window originally had a 100% silicone sealant that was unpaintable, so we removed it and replaced it by using a paintable caulk. To finish the window we applied primer and two coats of paint.
