Zak: 3 years
Ilene: 2 to 3 years

Are you an early bird or night owl?


Zak: Early bird
Ilene: Night owl

What were your first jobs?


Zak: Bicycle delivery and was a pin boy at Long Wong’s chinese-american sports bar
Ilene: Back of house in a pizzeria

What’s the biggest misconception about your industry?


Zak: Ladders are crazy…they’re hard to work with. Not everything is as easy to reach as you would
think.
Ilene: Nothing is square

What advice would you give your teenage self?


Zak: Drink more water.
Ilene: Stay on the same path and stop straightening your hair.

What’s the one thing people don’t know about you?


Zak: Super into bikes; anything with two wheels.
Ilene: I have a 10 year old dog; a bull terrier australian dog mix.

What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?


Zak: That I’m a good listener and easy to talk to.
Ilene: That I’m good at coping…emotionally and physically (coping the frames of windows so they
fit nicely together)
