Our Solution
On the two larger dormers, one east facing and one south facing,…
On the two larger dormers, one east facing and one south facing, the shingled roofs needed to be replaced. We began by removing all existing asphalt sidewall shingles. We replaced it with pre-primed 5x cedar shingles.
For the homes’ copper inset on the north facing roof we removed the existing copper panels and recycled the metal. Next our team made repairs to the sill, crown, and other
dormer trim filling in any cracks or holes with epoxy. Once ready we installed new copper panels, following the windows existing layout. To complete the metal inlay we soldered it fully.
