Windows are one of the most prominent features of a home – both internal and external. If your old windows aren’t functioning properly there is a good chance they can be restored and tuned to feel almost brand new. 

The wood windows on your historic home are made from old growth lumber that has lasted on your home for at least a century, and, with a little bit of repair and tuning, they can keep doing the same job for another 100 years. If your wooden window frame cracks or rots after 10 years there are solutions. There are ways to treat and repair rot. Sometimes, your original windows only need a bit of sanding, epoxy, and a fresh coat of paint.
